Pattonsburg Domes Finished

Pattonsburg, Mo. - Dome Technology has finished all four domes for the Pattonsburg School District. The largest dome, the gymnasium, is 150" in diameter and built on a stem wall. The stem wall was built by standing steel panels around the foundation, applying polyurethane foam, hanging steel rebar, and spraying shotcrete to finish the wall. The fabric form was attached to the top of the wall and inflated. Three domes including the gymnasium are for the high school. One dome will be used for an elementary school. School is expected to start in the Fall of 1998.
